“The Beloved Christmas Quilt” by Wanda, Jean and Richelle Brunstetter

I was anxious to read “The Beloved Christmas Quilt” by Wanda, Jean and Richelle Brunstetter for the Barbour Review Crew.  I love the topics and looked forward to reading more from the Brunstetters.

I’m sorry to say that I was very disappointed in this book.  I thought the story premises were very good and would be great to read.  However, I thought each book depended mostly on the mundane daily life of the characters.  More to the point, each book consisted mostly of conversations about things that would be talked about in a normal family.  I did get that there were problems disclosed, discussed, and solved at the end, but I got really tired of reading who said what.  I’m sorry that I cannot give the great review I was expecting to give, but I have to be honest.  This book was a disappointment to me in many ways.

I received a complimentary copy of this book from Barbour Publishing and was under no obligation to post a review.
