“Fatal Frost” by Nancy Mehl

Nancy Mehl is one of my favorite suspense-thriller novelists.  “Fatal Frost” is the latest of her books that I have read and enjoyed.  U.S. Marshall Mercy Brennan has been targeted by a Mexican drug cartel because they think she has something they want.  Her father has come back to Missouri, joined the drug enforcement team and has tried to mend fences with Mercy.  He also has secrets, which will unfortunately involve the safety of Mercy and those who are trying to protect her.

This is a fast-paced novel brimming with deadly enemies, betrayals and danger.  Mercy, along with her friend Talley and fellow U.S. Marshall Mark, must rise to the occasion when the cartel finds their hiding place.  The Varges leave no witnesses.  This novel is definitely a page-turner, and a very good novel for those enjoying suspense.

I received a free print copy of this book from Bethay House.  No review positive or otherwise was required – all opinions are my own.
