“Paris Is Always a Good Idea” by Nicolas Barreau is a wonderful love story. Set in Paris, this romance made me feel bright and light as a butterfly. I enjoyed the description of the Paris streets and shops, gardens and savory smells that the author so masterfully conveys through his writing. There was always a hint of something else going on as you are reading each chapter. I wasn’t quite able to figure it out and was pleasantly surprised at the end. I thought the characters were extremely well fashioned and well described as the novel progressed. I would recommend this book as a great get-away novel.
