“The Other Daughter” by Lauren Willig

Transport yourself to another time by immersing yourself in Lauren Willig’s book, “The Other Daughter”.   Rachel Woodley was raised in a small village in the English countryside by her mother, a widow.  Rachel is a governess for a rich family in France when she is called home to her mother’s bedside.  She arrives too late and finds that her life is not at all what she thought it was.  Secrets were kept and truth escaped reality for Rachel.  Her whole life is turned upside down as she tries to find out just who she really is.  I thought the book was very well written and provided a look at the English aristocracy and the barrier that exists between them and those who are not.

I received a print copy of this book from NightOwlReviews.com in return for my honest review.
