“Mail-Order Marriage” is a collection of short stories by various authors. The plot of each story takes place in the American west. Each “bride” answered a request from a gentleman seeking a bride, sight un-seen. Each story has a problem that must be solved before true happiness can be had by the new bride and groom. I enjoyed these short stories very much because I could read a bit and finish the story, put the book down and take care of a chore, then pick the book up again and enjoy another story. The characters in each story were very believable, but I’m not sure that all such mail-order marriages worked out that well in the old west.
I downloaded a Kindle copy of this book from NetGalley.com in return for my honest review.
