“Gone Without a Trace” – Patricia Bradley

In Patricia Bradley’s book, “Gone Without a Trace”, Livvy Reynolds is taking some time off to get herself together after a shooting which happened on her watch as a police detective.  She visits her Aunt Kate whose daughter vanished more than two years ago.  Another girl has disappeared from the same location in similar circumstances.  Livvy teams up with Alex Jennings, a private investigator who has been called in to work the latest case.  Livvy and Alex each have problems to work out.  These two investigators seem to be following dead-end leads until a major breakthrough occurs.

I enjoyed this mystery-thriller very much.  It was sort of creepy too.  There were many suspects in the disappearance of these two women.  I will say that the ending was a let-down for me, but reading to that point was exciting.

I received a free print copy of the book in return for my honest opinion of the book from NightOwlReviews.com.
