“To Everything a Season” by Lauraine Snelling

I love to read books by Lauraine Snelling.  “To Everything a Season” is no exception.  Ms. Snelling’s Red River Valley settings are so vivid in their descriptions that I feel like I am there on the prairie with the characters.  In this particular novel there are stories of life’s good and bad.  I especially am lifted up by the spirit of the characters living in Blessing, North Dakota.  For the most part, they are so welcoming and eager to help strangers and each other.  I find that the references to faith and God are very tasteful and not overly so.  I was very comforted reading this novel.  My mission is to read all of Ms. Snelling’s books.

I was sent a free print copy of the book by BethanyHouse.com in return for my honest opinion of the book.
