“The Memory of Lost Senses” by Judith Kinghorn

I finished the book, “The Memory of Lost Senses” by Judith Kinghorn.  This is a story of a countess who has returned home to England after living abroad for many years.  She is much older and is living in her memories of her life before.  Her memories are being written by a dear friend as Cora’s memoirs.

I had a difficult time finishing this book.  I am not sure why I couldn’t get into the novel because the time period in which the novel is set is one of my favorites – before and after World War I.  Although the book was beautifully written, I found it a bit tedious.  I’m sure that this book will be enjoyed by many readers.

I received free print copy of this book from Night Owl Reviews for my honest review.
