“Dancing with Fireflies” by Denise Hunter

I loved the book, “Dancing with Fireflies” by Denise Hunter.

The story begins with Jade McKinley in Chicago, where she has been for a year trying to make a go of her music and trying to forget the death of her one true love.  She shares an apartment with a friend, but her dreams have not come true.  After a disastrous date she finds herself back home in Indiana desperately needing help.  She goes to the one person she trusts who isn’t part of her actual family.

Daniel Dawson has loved Jade for years, but she thinks of him as a brother.  When circumstances throw them together and change their relationship, they truly find how they really feel about each other.

I loved this story.  It was a down home, sweet and tender.  I had a feel-happy feeling after reading this novel and that always tells me that the book was really good.

I was sent a free print copy of this book from BookLookBloggers.com  and a free kindle copy from NetGalley.com in return for my honest review.
